A Place Where No One’s the Only One
Guided. Shared. Human.
This is a coached community for people who know something in their life needs attention—and don’t want to figure it out alone.
What This Is
Brave Space is a live, virtual, facilitated group coaching community.
Members show up on our weekly Zoom call with whatever they’re working on—or whatever isn’t working. There is no preset agenda, no required topic, and no expectation that everyone is focused on the same thing.
Each gathering is led by a professional coach, so whatever comes into the room can be explored with clarity, care, and forward movement.
Support comes from three places:
the shared perspective and lived experience of other members
skilled coaching grounded in the Enneagram, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Affective Liminal Psychology (ALP)
sometimes we use curated books selected to deepen insight and gently challenge existing thinking that doesn’t serve you
The books are not assignments or a curriculum. They serve as shared language and perspective—tools to support the real work members bring into the space.
You don’t need to prepare.
You don’t need to know what to say.
You show up as you are—and we meet you there.
How This Space Is Held
This is not an open forum or unstructured discussion. The group is intentionally facilitated so:
conversations stay grounded and respectful
no one dominates or disappears
emotional safety is maintained
insight turns into clarity rather than overwhelm
Members can speak, listen, or both. Listening is participation.
Why the Group Matters
Change is harder in isolation.
In a group, you:
hear language for things you haven’t been able to name
recognize patterns you thought were personal failures
gain perspective without being fixed or advised
The group doesn’t tell you what to do. It helps you see more clearly.
Why the Coaching Matters
Without skilled facilitation, group spaces drift, stall, or stay surface-level.
Coaching brings:
structure without rigidity
depth without pressure
movement without forcing
Using the Enneagram, IFS, and ALP, I help members understand why patterns exist—so change becomes sustainable instead of effortful.
Who This Is For
Brave Space is for people who:
are working on meaningful personal change
feel stuck processing everything on their own
value depth, reflection, and emotional maturity
want guidance without being pushed or “fixed”
appreciate thoughtful facilitation and clear boundaries
Many members are:
rethinking their relationship with alcohol
navigating identity shifts or life transitions
noticing repeating emotional or behavioral patterns
tired of carrying the same questions alone
You don’t need to arrive with clarity. You do need a willingness to be honest with yourself and the group.
What This Is Not
To be clear:
This is not therapy
This is not crisis support
This is not a class or curriculum
This is not a casual social group
It is guided group coaching.
Who’s Holding the Space
Brave Space is led by Margie Coltharp, a certified health and wellness coach with over a decade of experience supporting personal change.
Her work integrates psychology, behavior change, and group facilitation—creating spaces that are calm, grounded, and effective.
You will be guided, not managed.
This is a space for people who want support that meets them where they are—and helps them move forward without being pushed.
You don’t have to do this alone.
Your Monthly Investment in Yourself
-
Receive weekly guidance from your certified coach, bringing unique expertise to help you navigate your journey. These sessions provide targeted support, compassionate feedback, and personalized insights to help you make meaningful changes.
-
The tools and strategies I share in our Brave Space are designed to uncover the "why" behind your habits, empowering you to make lasting changes not only with alcohol but in other areas where you might feel stuck. This could include habits like smoking or binge eating, for example, but it also extends to relationships, setting boundaries, building confidence, and more. Rooted in neuroscience and psychology, the methods I use help you gently dismantle old patterns and establish new ones in a compassionate, sustainable way.
-
In your Brave Space, you’ll learn to replace self-criticism with self-compassion and build the confidence to live authentically. This journey isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress, self-kindness, and feeling genuinely good in your choices.
-
Join a community of others who are also questioning, exploring, or fully committed to a life free from alcohol’s influence. This supportive environment offers encouragement, shared insights, and meaningful connections with others who understand your journey. You’re never alone—there’s always a group cheering you on.
